Lens Stone Setting
Lens Stone Setting Lens Stone Setting

In this one day lens setting workshop, students will learn to set gemstones with sterling bezel wire; allowing light through stones while creating an illusion of a floating stone.  One will learn to set faceted or cabochon stones in light settings by using a bezel pusher and hammer piece. Students are encouraged to bring stones to make into a finished jewelry piece. Examples of stones that would work well for this type of setting are: transparent faceted beads, tourmaline slices, moss agates, rainbow agates and semi transparent rose cut stones.
